Junior Leadership Class Announcement Press Release

2010 Junior Leadership Class

The program is restricted to 10th grade students from the city and county school districts, as well as local private schools and home schoolers. Acceptance is based on completion of the application forms by the assigned deadline and the payment of $45 tuition fee. This fee covers the cost of food at each session, transportation, a program t-shirt, and graduation costs. The Chamber of Commerce offers sponsorships for any applicant in need of financial assistance.

Graduation requirements are based three criteria:
1) participation of each applicant in the community project.
2) attendance (Participants may not miss more than one session. The itinerary is included so applicants have a chance to plan for session dates before submitting the application form.)
3) ability to abide by the behaviors set out in the Oxford-Lafayette Jr. Leadership Code of Conduct.

If you have any questions about the program, please call the Chamber of Commerce at 234-4651 and speak with Pam Swain.
